Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer Review

The Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer claims to be hydrating, full-coverage, weightless and encompasses a four-in-one formula said to conceal, contour, highlight and retouch. Among the ingredients listed, this concealer is infused with alpine rose, hyaluronic acid and coconut water to hydrate the skin. This gem not only comes in 20 shades to accommodate many skin tones, but it also comes with a large doe-foot application to allow for price application. The wear time is over 12 hours.

I purchased the shade “Almond” which was described as a very fair golden tone. Upon application I was surprised as to how much coverage I got right away, and how smooth and pigmented the concealer was. Throughout the day I noticed that I have had no issues with creasing, or cakeiness. I was pleasantly surprised that although I have very dry and flakey skin, this concealer did not accentuate nor cling to the dry patches on my skin. Overall, I felt like this concealer was hydrating and has a creamy formula that stays on and doesn’t budge. The claim that it lasts for over 12 hours, is factual as there were several times where I would apply the concealer at 6:00am and remove it at 10:00pm, and it still looked shine-free and immaculate. I have tried this product on my blemishes, and it did a great job of covering them up. I also noticed that although I have very sensitive acne-prone skin this did not break me out. More so, every concealer that I have placed under my under eyes tends to crease throughout the day and seeps into my fine lines. I’m happy to report that this was not the case here!

The Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is 29 USD/$36 CAD (before tax) for 0.50 oz. Considering that you get so much product, and a doe-foot applicator for an easier application, this is a great value. This concealer is quickly becoming one of my top favorites as it does what it claims, and looks very natural on the skin, as it isn’t a strong matte or glow-like finish but rather a skin like sheen.

Final thoughts:

The Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is well worth the price, as it is a very good concealer and does what it claims. I like using this as it doesn’t cake up or crease on my face, and is very long lasting. For the price point this is a wise investment and I will most likely repurchase this once I’m done with my current tube (although I don’t foresee going through this anytime soon!).
