Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Too Faced has released a gingerbread scented palette! The Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette ($49USD/$59CAD) has 18 colors consisting of shimmers and mattes, and the fun pops of color are sure to catch your attention. Just like many of the other Too Faced eyeshadows, these ones are buttery, pigmented and blend out seamlessly. The shade names are bound to make you smile, and did I mention the yummy scent? The only visible downside is that you can’t eat them? (lol).

This palette is $49 USD (before tax), which works out to $2.72 USD per shade. The pan sizes are generous and for price point versus quality, this is a sure fire winner! I am personally a huge shimmer fan and love that there are so many incredible colors to play with as we approach the festive season. I love the fact that there was a transition shade as well as a highlighter shade included in the palette to help complete any eyeshadow look- day or night. The only shade that disappointed me was “Sugar Daddy”, a white, chunky, glittery mess, with little to no pigmentation. But 17/18 are pure stunning!

Final thoughts

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this palette. The shades are unique and are a pleasure to use when I’m doing my makeup. The formula reminds me of the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow palette, which is also one of my favorites. You can do a lot with the Gingerbread Spice, and create many looks, which makes it an intriguing buy. Personally, as a Too Faced collector I couldn’t resist the cute colors, the adorable packaging and the delicious fragrance of gingerbread. Unlike some of the peach scented products in their line, this scent is not overbearing and puts a smile on my face every time I use this palette. I would give it a try if you’re a shimmer fan, because you are not going to be disappointed by this cutie.
