Too Faced has come out with yet another cute and fun eyeshadow palette. This eyeshadow palette is a collection of 16 shades, encompassing glitters, mattes, shimmers and pearls. These shadows are said to mimic the beauty of diamonds. In this very special palette, there are 4 diamond-shaped pressed-gel-glitter shadows that allow for self-adhesion to minimize glitter fallout. Overall, the palette itself is a beautiful collection of nudes, with a hint of cool tones to add variety.
As always, the Too Faced line never seems to disappoint. These shadows are unique, beautiful and go on effortlessly. The self-adhesive glitters truly work like a charm! Each shade brings a vibrant pigmentation, and with the exception of a few shimmer shades that were chunky and unpigmented, overall the palette was a big win for me.
Value
This eyeshadow palette retails for $49 USD, each eyeshadow works out to $3.06 USD. The pan sizes are relatively large, and for the variety of formulas that are encompassed, this is a good value for your buck.
Pigmentation
The shadows are pigmented, and the different formulas work well together.
Blendability
These blend very well, and do not get muddy when trying to blend them out. Mixing the diverse formulas is not a problem.
Longevity
These last a relatively long time and don’t crease, which is a big plus. Perhaps the biggest issue is when the glitters fall out.
Packaging
This is quite bulky packaging, although it surely is gorgeous.
Final thoughts
I think that just as with any palette, it is important to know what you look for in a palette. This particular one allows you to do several different looks, with diverse finishes and formulas. A simple look or a glam look can be easily achieved, and I appreciate that. I enjoy playing around and testing out new formulas, as I have not dealt with self-adhesive glitter shadows before. Overall, I would recommend this palette as it allows for a creative soul to try out many looks!
