Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette Review

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette Review

This Urban Decay palette consists of 12 brand new shades inspired by rose gold and cherry tones. The Naked Cherry palette (just like the other Urban Decay palettes) comes with a full-size mirror and a double ended brush. The formula is creamy and buttery, with many gorgeous shimmers and some blendable mattes to create many glamorous looks. Personally, this is by far my most favorite Urban Decay palette. If you’re a fan of the fall cranberries shades then this palette will really appeal to you.

This palette is $49USD/$66CAD (before tax), and is a total of 1.1 g. This works out to roughly $4.08 USD per eyeshadow. It is a reasonable investment, and for the price point the eyeshadow are definitely worth it. When comparing this formula to those of the previous Urban Decay eyeshadows I would have to stress that these seem even more pigmented and buttery than the last palettes. With the discontinuation of the Urban Decay Original Naked Palette, this is a wonderful addition to the palette family.

As pictured in the swatches, I am truly amazed at how pigmented the eyeshadows are. A little eyeshadow goes a long way, and when blending these they seem to glide on without creating any patchiness. I tend to be more of a cool tone fan, yet there is something very feminine and compelling about this palette. The warm shades have almost a purple hint to them, which to me creates a stunning look on many eye colors. The shades Drunk Dial and Ambitious have a beautiful metallic sheen to them. I have used these colors all over my lid and found that this creates a stunning look on their own.

Shades Include:

  1. Hot Spot (ivory matte)
  2. Caution (soft neutral beige matte)
  3. Bang Bang (shimmering pink)
  4. Feelz (soft dusty rose matte)
  5. Juicy (soft warm peach)
  6. Turn On (pale metallic rose shimmer)
  7. Ambitious (metallic rose copper)
  8. Bing (deep mauve matte)
  9. Devilish (reddish plum matte)
  10. Young Love (metallic cranberry)
  11. Drunk Dial (deep metallic burgundy)
  12. Privacy (deep brownish-plum matte)
