Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette Review

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette Review

YAY! Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with a new limited edition palette. This smoky-eye shadow collection consists of 14 shades, ranging from neutrals to cool-toned mattes and metallics. The amount of pigment, sparkle and glitter in this palette makes for the perfect holiday glam look! “Bloom” a shade featured in this palette, as a vibrant coral red, is a fun way to get a hint of color without taking away from the “sultry” vibe of this beauty. If you’re into shimmers and bold looks then this is a must have in your collection.

This palette is $45USD/$59CAD (before tax). This works out to roughly $3.21 USD per eyeshadow. The Sultry eyeshadow palette is $3 dollars more than all of ABH’s (Anastasia Beverly Hills) other palettes, and for the price point is a sound investment if you’re into smoky looks. There is quite a bit of fall out, which personally doesn’t bother me, but this is something to be aware of. This palette is one of my favorite ones from ABH, and I can’t wait to see what she is working on next.

I can’t get enough of shimmers and smoky tones. This palette has a lot of neutral tones which would go great for day-time makeup applications, and you can most certainly spice up any look with the amount of metallic shades that are in the collection. This color palette is reminiscent of the Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Smokey. The metallics in both this palette and Huda are pigmented, however this palette is quite a nice expansion if you’re looking for more color ranges. I am in love with this palette!

Final thoughts

In conclusion, I would strongly suggest that if you’re into metallics, neutral cool tones and smoky vibes you should check out this palette. I am always drawn to darker and more allusive looks. I find that cooler and darker colors define the shape of my eyes. As a result they draw attention to the color of my eyes, which makes for a very classy and sexy look. I like the versatility of this palette and it is always a pleasure to experience the ABH quality. This is definitely one of my biggest loves this holiday season, so far! It wouldn’t be a holiday season without a fun ABH palette!
