Natasha Denona Citrus Diamond & Blush Palette Review

Natasha Denona Citrus Diamond & Blush Palette Review

Natasha Denona came out with her Diamond and Blush Palette; a gorgeous palette created with “diamond-like” sparkle, inspired by Denona’s idea of “glow”. This 6 pan palette includes cream and powder products. There are a total of 3 blushes and 3 highlighters. Each pan is 0.25oz/7g and consists of 1 cream blush, 1 duo chrome finish, and the rest are all powders.

I have a light-olive skin tone and on me the colors are absolutely gorgeous and vibrant. Although these shades are more shimmery than pigmented, I think that this plays well for those makeup lovers that are heavy handed. Some of the shades have tons of glitter, which make them better for eye pigments rather than face products. In addition, if you are layering on a highlight for a glow, it may start to look chunky.

This palette is $89 USD (before tax). For the $89 USD price tag, each shade works out to approximately $14.83 USD. This is high price to pay, however Natasha Denona is a luxury brand, which is an investment for those that decide to purchase her products. The pan sizes are large and you do get a lot of product.

Final thoughts

This blush palette is absolutely lovely. For me personally, it is not a must have. I find myself reaching for this palette when I want a really glowy and over the top look, which unfortunately is not often. For everyday wear, I think that the powders are shimmery and don’t look natural in an office daytime setting. However, when I want that extra pop of glam, I do feel very elegant when using it. My conclusion is that if you feel like splurging, then this is a wonderful addition to anyone’s makeup collection.
